Antique Weathered 19th Century French Lantern

A charming antique French candle lantern with a ring for carrying, and a door for accessing the candle. This is a very old item dating back to 1850-1900, weathered and with repairs. The glass has been replaced at some point, as has the carrying ring which is not original. The access door is a little bent out of shape though it does still close. The lantern has rust and wax stains and comes in the weathered condition shown in the images.
